What are the Gatherings like?

Our Gatherings are designed to help people encounter Jesus through singing, prayer, media and teaching from the Bible.

How long is the gathering?

Our Gatherings begin on time, lasting about 65 minutes.

Where can I park?

Parking is available on both sides of the building and across the street in the Government of Yukon parking lot.

Is there a dress code?

No. Come in whatever style makes you feel comfortable.

Do I have to give money?

No. We do take up an offering as part of the Gathering. However, this is primarily for those who have committed to supporting the mission and vision of Mountainview Church.

What do I do after the service?

Feel free to stay for a cup of our incredible Collective Coffee or choose your favourite tea, and get to know some of the people who call Mountainview home.

How do I get connected?

The best way is to sign up for one of our Next Steps courses. Next Steps is a 4-week course to help you get connected with Mountainview Church. You'll participate with other people from all walks of life, as we unpack...

...our desire to be CHRIST-centred.

...our CULTURE as a church.

...the COMMUNITY we're building.
...the COMMITMENT we're all called to.

Is there kids program?

Yes, typically our BASECAMP Children's Program runs concurrently with our Sunday Gatherings. Parents sign-in their children (infants through grade 6) at the Welcome Desk in the foyer. At sign-in, the parent will be given an ID tag coinciding with their child's name tag. This ID tag is then submitted at child pick-up.

    BASECAMP At Home

Over the past few months, we have been given free access to the Think Orange video lessons under a COVID-Relief package. These have been a crucial component of our BASECAMP At Home online ministry.

As of July 1, 2020, this free COVID-Relief subscription ended, changing how content can be access for our BASECAMP At Home families. Downloadable options are no longer permitted without a paid subscription.

As churches try to figure out what their online (and reopening) children's ministry will look like, ThinkOrange has created an interim option for parents called "Parent Cue Sunday At Home".

As Mountainview Church establishes an online and reopening strategy for BASECAMP, we would ask parents, grandparents, and guardians, to visit the Parent Cue website at, and bookmark this site for future use, to easily access children's content when you need it.

How do I become a Christian?

In John 14:6, Jesus tells us how we can have a relationship with God, the Heavenly Father.  He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well." (Jn. 14:6)

Later on in the Bible, we read, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,‘ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom. 10:9)  When we die, if we believe in Jesus and declare that we follow Him, we will see heaven with Him.

If you believe in Jesus and are ready to make a declaration for Him, please let us know!
